Who You Are

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Best Interests Assessor (BIA) to join our Adults Safeguarding team in Denbighshire. You should be enthusiastic, collaborative, and capable of handling sensitive legislative processes.

What the job involves

The successful candidate will undertake Best Interest Assessments under DoLS legislation, working full time (37 hours a week) for a 3-month period. You will be involved in face-to-face meetings within Denbighshire and have access to office spaces in Ruthin or Rhyl as needed.

Skills

  • Qualified Best Interests Assessor
  • Registered with Social Care Wales or willing to register
  • Strong understanding of DoLS legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
