Social Worker (Grade 11)

Who You Are
We are looking for an agency social worker to join the Taf Ely Community Mental Health Team for a nine-month period. You will work with individuals with mental health needs in the Taf area of Rhondda Cynon Taf. The role requires site-based work five days a week, with flexibility for a 4-day week and some agile working from home, depending on service needs. It is essential that you can travel independently in the locality.
What the Job Involves
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and deliver high-quality social work practice. Key responsibilities include safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of adults, co-producing care and treatment plans, coordinating care, and understanding mental health legislation. You will conduct mental capacity assessments and ensure all records are electronically maintained and updated.
