Who You Are
You are an experienced joiner with multi-trade skills such as plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting. You hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in joinery trade e.g. City & Guild, and have extensive post-qualification experience in relevant trade practices. You understand and can demonstrate the successful delivery of varying workloads in customer-focused environments while complying with Health and Safety requirements. You also possess high-quality communication skills and have practical experience operating computerised data recording equipment.
What the Job Involves
The roles and responsibilities involve carrying out joinery/multi-trade installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance in properties managed by NCHA. You are to coordinate with other trades, colleagues, contractors and partners to deliver excellent service to customers. You'll also have to manage stock/supplies, properly document all work, identify service gaps, and adhere to health and safety regulations. The job requires relief provision for colleagues and emergency coverage, if necessary, in addition to meeting performance standards and contributing to the team's effective operation.
