Experienced Pest Control Technician LBS-006 (Trade & Operatives)

Who You Are

The successful candidate must possess a RSPH Pest Control Technician qualification to a minimum  standard of Level 2 and a valid UK driving license. Knowledge of the geography of the London Borough of Southwark is advantageous.

What the Job Involves

The Pest Control Technician will provide front line delivery of pest control services through inspections, investigations and surveys of suspected infestations, carrying out treatments or pest proofing works in line with legislative requirements and best practice. The role includes site visits and the treatment of a range of pests. Responsibilities also include providing advice and support on pest control issues and maintaining service standards in accordance with regulations and procedures.

Skills

  • RSPH Pest Control Technician qualification at Level 2
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Ability to identify and treat a range of infestations
  • Experience with traps, culls, deterrents, pesticides and biocides
  • Knowledge of Housing Fire Safety Guidance and Construction Regulations
  • Experience with COSHH regulations
  • Ability to collect payments and manage service income
  • Ability to produce accurate written reports
  • Knowledge of and participation in CPD programme
  • Proficient with IT hardware and software
