Who You Are
You are an experienced professional with at least 4 years of recent experience in child protection and 2 years as a team manager. You have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and support a team of social workers.
What the job involves
Based at Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth, you will be working 37 hours a week from Monday to Friday. Your role involves managing a team of up to 7 social workers focused on child protection assessment and intervention. Duties include overseeing legal work, court attendance, team meetings, briefings, performance evaluations, supervision, quality assurance, and chairing meetings related to children, such as placement planning and public law outline. You will be responsible for presenting weekly and monthly performance data and creating improvement plans for senior leaders.
